I can't say that i had a bad experience with BRIDES BY DEMETRIOS yet and hope i wont became one of the Demetrios pissed consumer, because i would love to give and post good news in this page. I bought my dress months ago and finally was ready for pick up at the DEMETRIOS San Diego in Fashion Valley, i went this past Friday 06-01-2018 very happy because buying it in the DEMETRIOS store was a huge step for me. On my first marriage (which i divorce, this is going to be my second marriage) I couldn't afford a weddings dress and I always thought that if i married again it would be with a dress bought in Demetrios and finally my dream came true, imagine DEMETRIOS is one of the prestigious leader in Bridal fashions, and therefore, it is known that it is a very well recognized company in which customer service should be excellent, so i didn't hesitate for a second to buy my dress here. But....... when i went to pick it up, i try it on to see i much it will cost any alteration needed, we ( the clerk and my self) notice that the fabric was tear off from on side, the clerk answer was: Don't worry, we can sew it or cover it with something. Whaaat?! wait a second i didn't pay $99 dlls. for this dress, i thought in my mind. With good manners i told the clerk that if she could please order or give another dress of the same price, this dress wasn't cheap and is unacceptable receive a damage dress from DEMETRIOS ( come on DEMETRIOS is DEMETRIOS!) I do not ask for the money to be returned, just exchange it for another dress, it does not matter if it's a different model or color( obviously as long as i like it), just a dress as the same value. Is this to much to ask? You would pay for a Salvage Car like a brand new car, no right? well my dress is Salvage now and why i am going to pay for it like new? Demetrios, we must begin to prevent bad comments from a company as important and recognized throughout the United States and some other countries like yours. I have my own business and I prefer a thousand times to satisfy my clients, because one satisfied clients will bring 10 more to my business, and believe it works! Terrible Experience

Brides By Demetrios - Terrible Experience
DO NOT USE BRIDES BY DEMETRIOS. First, let me start by saying my dress is beautiful but the customer service is TERRIBLE. And this is why: 1) I went to the Scottsdale location and found my dress rather quickly, which was great. However, I was told that the store did not have space in the back to store my dress when it came in so it would be shipped to my house. But the real reason is would be shipped to my house was being that the store was closing a week later! So they completely lied and having to deal with corporate has been a nightmare. 2) Corporate called and said my dress would be here end of October and said they would update me with its progress. I didn't hear from them beginning of November so I called and they said my dress was running a couple weeks late. That would have been nice to know since my wedding is in December and I need to get it fitted. 3) Since I couldn't get my dress altered at the store since it closed, I called the three contacts they gave me and one seemed out of business, one was rude on the phone and another was way across town so I had to find my own tailor. 4) When I finally received my dress and brought it to the tailor, there was a HUGE RIP at the bottom of the dress, probably because it was poorly shipped! I called Demetrios corporate and sent them a picture, and rather than apologizing and compensating me for the damage, she asked how tall I was and I said I was 5'4" and she said "Oh, well it will be cut off the dress anyways since the dresses are made for someone 5'10. If your tailor charges extra for this or finds this a problem, then you need to find a different tailor." This was completely unprofessional and very disappointing being that my wedding is next month. Overall, I love my dress but the company and customer service is TERRIBLE. If you have any problems with the dress, they will not do anything about it. I didn't get one apology for the huge rip in my dress. Finding your dress should be a great experience

Stop griping.

And don't beat anyone else over the head with it for the rest of your life.

I purchased a dress for my daughter's wedding. The measurements were taken when I ordered. They measured me as a size 18w, stating that because of my waist I was an 18. When I picked it up, it was so huge, long and wide. I would have to grow 6 ins. And gain 50 lbs.. They insist that it can be altered. By the time it would be altered, I could have a dress made custom for me. I was told the dress was a custom order. I was unable to return it. I will make sure that I will spread the word not to shop there for my gowns. I thought since they were located in Macys, that always has excellent customer service that they would be customer friendly also. Now, I have a dress, never worn, tags still on. I refuse to spend the kind of money the alterations would require. I will make a complaint to Macys, remove Demetrios from your store.
